Bridgeport preschool plans walk for early childhood education

The Adam J. Lewis Preschool located at 246 Lenox Avenue in Bridgeport’s West End is sponsoring a walk at St. Mary’s-by-the-Sea to increase awareness of the importance of a stimulating and nurturing early childhood education.

The public is invited to join the members and friends of the Adam J. Lewis Preschool community for the walk and free giveaways on Saturday, June 4, at 11 a.m., at The Walkway, St. Mary’s-by-the-Sea, Black Rock, (Eames Boulevard via Gilman Street). Rain date is Sunday, June 5, at noon.

The Adam J. Lewis Preschool was founded in 2013 by Fairfield resident Patty Lewis in memory of her late husband Adam Lewis, who died in the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center. The preschool honors Adam’s life and personal educational experience by bringing a high quality and nurturing academic and social program to the children of Bridgeport.

In attendance will be Founder and Head of the Adam J. Lewis Preschool, Patty Lewis of Fairfield; Director/Teacher of the Adam J. Lewis Preschool, Julie Mombello of Westport, along with members and friends of the Adam J. Lewis Preschool community.
