United Illuminating announces planned outages

In order to accommodate upgrades to its electric system that will help ensure reliable service in the future, United Illuminating (UI) has scheduled service outages in Bridgeport, Fairfield and Stratford on Wednesday, July 27.

De’Yani Mechelle Delva (on the left) will attend North Carolina Wesleyan College. Kijhauna Autumn Stevens (on right) is attending Fairfield University.

Bridgeport students awarded $4,000 in college scholarships

Fairfield County’s Community Foundation announces Future Society

Fairfield County’s Community Foundation recently announced the naming of its Future Society: a group of like-minded individuals dedicated to creating an awareness of the importance of including philanthropy in estate plans so that their legacy can continue long after they are gone.
