Kennedy Center gala celebrates the ’20s

Step out in style this fall and into the Great Gatsby era Saturday, Nov. 3, at the Patterson Club, 1118 Cross Highway, Fairfield. The Kennedy Center’s Four Seasons Ball will capture the essence of the Roaring 20s.

The gala will feature a social hour with hors d’oeuvres at 7 p.m., followed by a full-course dinner and dancing to the band, Cracked Ice. Black tie optional, and evening attire is requested.

Paul Miller, president and chief executive officer of Miller Nissan in Fairfield, will be honored as this year’s Tribute Journal honoree. The ball is being co-chaired by Robert and Barbara Scinto of Fairfield, while the chair of the Tribute Journal is Kathy Miller of Milford.

Proceeds from the ball will benefit The Kennedy Center’s residential services for people with disabilities, including 16 group homes, a supported living option program, a family support and respite service and the Caring for the Caregiver Program that offers support for parents of family members who are developmentally disabled.

For more information, call The Kennedy Center at 203-365-8522, ext. 216, or visit thekennedycenterinc.org to register online. Tickets cost $200 per person.
