Santa Energy has added propane gas to the list of energy sources the company provides to residential, commercial and industrial users throughout Connecticut.
Santa Energy is a family-owned business that has served customers for more than 70 years.
Propane is the latest addition to their offerings, which include heating oil and motor fuels, natural gas and electricity.
Company President Peter Russell said the company’s success is driven by its ability to provide multiple energy options, which allows customers to make the most cost effective and cleanest energy choices.
“We are very excited to offer propane delivery, service and installation to our customers. We see propane as a fuel for the future; it is very versatile and economically attractive and clean burning. Beyond providing heat and hot water, propane can be used for cooking, clothes drying, stand-by generators, pool heating and more. It is a great fuel source to have.” Russell said.
Bill Harris, the manager of Santa Energy’s propane gas division “great option” for customers living in areas where a natural gas line is not available, or as a cleaner dual fuel option.
“A lot of our customers have been asking about higher efficiency gas heating equipment, and since many don’t have access to natural gas in their area, propane is the perfect alternative,” said Harris, who has more than 30 years experience in the industry.
“Unlike many other propane companies Santa Energy has their own full service and installation team, including licensed plumbers, so we are able to offer conversions from other energy sources to propane and handle every aspect of the project.” Harris said.
Santa Energy’s professional technicians are qualified to install tanks, lines and connections to existing appliances and, if needed, install energy-efficient systems to help reduce operating costs. The company offers service 24 hours a day as well as ongoing assistance to customers working to maintain their systems.
Harris said employees play a crucial role, especially when introducing a new product.
“Many people aren’t willing to make a change if they don’t know too much about a given product, but when you have an experienced and knowledgeable staff, they really help guide people in making the best energy choices,” Harris said.
